Dare to Dream
We create our fate every day we live - Henry Miller
I wondered what advice she would give. As if reading my thoughts she turned to me and said: "You need to trust that what you need will come to you when it's needed." She continued, "You know, I got up this morning and wondered if I would have the energy to come and sing. I decided I would trust that all would be well and, of course, now that I'm here, it is! I will admit I don't have quite as much energy as I used to, now that I'm eighty-eight and a half!"
Think of an issue that is challenging you today. Now let go of the need that you have to figure it out. Imagine and feel it is already sorted. Hand it over to the universe and let it come up with the solution. Now imagine how you would feel if it was already sorted. Feel that way now and trust the universe! You do not need to keep checking if anything is happening, or force a solution - leave it to the universe - total trust! The degree to which you trust will decide how effortlessly it happens. When something shows up and it feels positively exciting to act on it - go for it! You will be amazed and will have found a very exhilarating and refreshing way to solve future challenges.
If this seems to be a bit of a stretch for you remember no matter what we do or which approach we take we will always have faith - faith that it will work out or faith that it won't! These feelings of faith decide which outcome will be realised, the one we want or the one we don't want. If you have faith that the universe will help you overcome a challenge, it will. If you have faith that this challenge will get worse and you will have to sort it out yourself without any help from a universal intelligence then that is what you'll experience.
We have all experienced the following sort of outcome - We worry and hope that something won't go wrong. We put loads of emotions into worrying about it going wrong. We get stressed out thinking it will go wrong. We can clearly see it going wrong in our mind. We trust it will go wrong, just like it has in the past. We tell those close to us that we think it will go wrong. We feel and act as if it has already gone wrong! What happens? It goes wrong! What do we then think? Oh, there is some other force outside ourselves that made it go wrong! The truth is this force, the universal intelligence, is following through on how we've been thinking, feeling and acting. Change these for the better and the results will be for the better.
This is where our creative power lies. Next time, decide to worry like mad about everything going perfectly well! As I heard the author, Marianne Williamson, once say, 'Everyone has faith - faith that it won't work or faith that it will'.
An Invitation to Realise your Creative Power
Thoughts and feelings are vehicles of creation. At the beginning of each day create positive thoughts about how you would like your day to manifest, and how you would like to 'be' in your day. At the end of each day notice the difference these positive thoughts made. As you learn and realise more about your inherent creative power you can create more of what you'd like to experience in your life.
Create a Great Day!
